"And it's time to be moving on, like the sparrow that's about to fly the nest"

For us, this album captures a moment when, at least for a little while, the world came to a standstill; when in spite of all the uncertainty and the worry, the roads were quiet, the sun shone and there was little to do but play music and enjoy each other's company. It also marks our final months in a house which had been a hub for musicians (and late night basement jams) for many years. At its heart it is very much a 'home-grown' labour of love, and one which we are proud to finally be sharing.

Special thanks to Rachel Swann and Mick Russell for putting up with us during lockdown, for keeping the laughs coming, the BBQ going, and making those last few months at Delph Lane as special as they were. Also to Simon Robinson, and all of our friends and families for their unerring love and support.
